2017 Programs at White Bluffs

We are delighted to announce that our Summer
Children's Textile Arts Program
was successfully completed.
~~~
Our
Gotta Have It! & Pop-up Patchwork Sale
were a resounding success on September 22 and 23rd.
We will present similiar programs in 2018.
A new schedule of classes is currently being revised.
Friendship groups are meeting every month and
Native American Month for 2017 is spectacular!
~~~
Native American Heritage Month

 Every year, White Bluffs plans a series of events to commemorate the
culture and heritage of our Native Americans.
Fall, 2017 will be very special!

This year the Native American Discovery Unit will be available at White Bluffs Quilt Museum for two (2) days. Friday, October 27th and Saturday, October 28th, from 10::00 am - 5:00 pm. Bring your family, there is no charge .

The Wanapum Native American Discovery Unit (WNADU) is part of the Wanapum Heritage Center. The WNADU is a custom motor home that brings the Wanapum history and culture to you. Learn who the Wanapum are, what foods they eat, about their way of life, what is important to them, and how they maintain their culture. Inside the WNADU Visitors can view a miniature of the old Priest Rapids Wanapum Village and many other Wanapum artifacts.

White Bluffs will also be presenting two exhibits (one at White Bluffs, one at the Richland Library), a Class in Native Beading, Craft Demos, and the East Benton County Museum will present a lecture and a tour of their collection of Native American Artifacts on November 3rd.
Check our web page, "Native American Heritage" for more details.
