Beginning Tapestry

Classes for Adults
Beginning Tapestry

This class is an introduction to Tapestry Weaving. If you do not have a tapestry loom, patterns and instructions for creating your own loom are available. Small looms are available at Walmart or Amazon for under $20 (see photo below). This class will cover: how to warp your loom, yarns to consider, design, various stitches, "how to remove the weaving from the loom" and lots more.

This is a great way to utilize that stash of yarns, roving and fabric you might have left over from other projects. Join Jean and add tapestry weaving to your textile choices.

Class fee: $25
When: Thursday, June 29th
Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Contact: Jean Zoet, zoetjean@yahoo.com
